Copsemar
Copsemar was born as a second degree cooperative in 1986 in order to carry out rice seed production activities.
Copsemar produces seeds of the most cultivated varieties in the different Spanish rice-growing areas.
Improvement Programs
The technological activity of the company began more than 25 years ago, in 1989, when it started its own improvement program, with the aim of obtaining new varieties of rice, both medium pearl grain and long crystalline grain, adapted to the conditions of Spanish rice growing areas and modern cultivation techniques.
Own Facilities
We obtain the best seed through cultivation in the plots directly cultivated by Copsemar, and through contracts with collaborating farmers. Copsemar performs all quality controls through the Technical Service of the cooperative in all phases of production (sowing, cultivation, harvesting, drying, storage, packaging).
